Warnings
Body cords may only be used for practicing fencing according to the rules of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) or the respective national fencing federation.
The body cord is designed solely for transmitting electrical signals from a fencing weapon to a fencing scoring device and must not be connected to any other devices or external power sources!
Before use, check the body cable and its connector for damage or abrasion.
Use the body cord only with designated fencing weapons and connection devices. Avoid improper handling that could lead to electric shocks or other electrical hazards.
Use the crocodile clip only for attaching to the metal fabric of the metal vest. Any other improper use could result in injuries.
Please note that repairs may only be carried out by trained personnel!
Keep packaging materials and small parts that may come with the cable out of reach of small children.
Use the correct winding technique to avoid cable breakage. A common method is the "cable loop." Avoid tight windings. Use Velcro straps to secure the coiled cable.
