Product information "network cable Cat6, 2m"

  • length: 2 meters
Warnings
The network cable must be used exclusively for the signal connection of fencing systems and related devices. Any improper use may result in malfunctions or damage.

Before each use, the cable must be carefully inspected for visible damage. Damaged insulation, kinks or loose connectors must not be ignored.

The cable must not be used under tension. It should be laid loosely without being twisted, stretched or sharply bent.

The network cable must not be placed across walkways, under the fencing piste, or in other areas with foot traffic, as it poses a tripping hazard.

In tournament environments, proper securing of the cable is required, for example, using cable mats or covers to prevent accidents.

Connectors must only be pulled by the connector housing, never by the cable itself. Otherwise, contact damage or connection failures may occur.

The cable must not be exposed to liquids, high humidity or sweat, as this may cause short circuits or corrosion.

The cable must remain free of mechanical stress. It must not be crushed, driven over or stepped on, for example, by sports equipment or fencing shoes.

Repairs or modifications to the cable may only be performed by qualified personnel. Unauthorized interference will void the warranty and poses safety risks.

Unused cables should be stored dry, loosely coiled and without sharp bends, preferably in a protective container.

Cable use should always occur in a properly grounded and surge-protected environment, especially in sports facilities with unstable electrical networks.

Caring and storing instructions
The network cable should be regularly checked for dust, dirt or mechanica debris to ensure reliable signal transmission.

To clean the cable, use only a dry or slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Harsh cleaners, solvents or abrasive materials must not be used, as they can damage the cable insulation.

Connectors should be gently cleaned with a soft, dry cloth to avoid damaging sensitive contacts. If necessary, use canned air to remove debris.

Contacts must never come into contact with liquids or conductive substances, as this can lead to corrosion or malfunction.

Before cleaning, the cable must be fully disconnected from all devices and powered off to eliminate any risk to people or equipment.

After use, the cable should be loosely coiled without tight bends to avoid damaging the internal conductors and to prolong its service life.

The cable must never be stored while sharply bent, twisted or under tension, as this can negatively impact its conductivity and shielding performance.

Storage should be in a dry, dust-free environment with stable room temperature. Avoid moisture, direct sunlight or extreme temperature fluctuations.

The recommended storage temperature is between 0°C and 40°C. Prolonged storage in unheated halls, vehicles or sports bags may damage the material.

For extended periods of non-use, the cable should be stored in a protective case, cable bag or antistatic packaging to protect it from dust, moisture and mechanical impact.
