You will receive teh sofware update via download link. Only perform the update on a device that is officially designated for this purpose. 

The update must be carried out exclusively using the file provided by Uhlmann and according to the official instructions. 

Uhlmann accepts no liability for any damage or malfunctions resulting from improper use or installation. 

Ensure that the fencing scoring device is fully functional and connected to a stable power supply. 

Disconnect all other USB or network cables that are not required for the update. 

Do not interrupt the update process (e.g. by disconnecting power or forcibly closing the update software). 

An incomplete or faulty update can lead to permanent malfunction of the device. 

After a successful update, check the functionality of the device according to the operating manual. 

Any modifications or procedures outside the official instructions will void the warrenty. 

Uhlmann assumes no responsibility for damage resulting from improper installation or the use of outdated  update files. 

Clean the device gently before performing the update using a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. 

Remove dust and dirt especially around the connectors (e.g. USB, network, power). 

Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, solvents or compressed air - these may damage the electronics or cause malfunction. 

The device must be clean and dry during the update to avoid interference with the process. 

If the scoring device is not put back into operation immediately after the update, store it in a clean, dry and dust-free environment. 

Whenever possible, use the original packaging or an anti-static protective bag, especially for longer storage periods. 

Electronic waste must not be disposed of with household garbage. 

Please use an authorized recycling center for proper disposal.
