Product information ""BendyBuddy", auxiliary tool for blade wiring"
Use by minors is not permitted.
Keep away from small children – risk of strangulation, suffocation hazard!
Ensure that the BendyBuddy is used only for its intended purpose. Improper use can lead to serious injuries.
Always follow the manufacturer's instructions to ensure the correct use of the BendyBuddy.
Before deciding to reinsert a blade, it must be checked for damage, cracks, or deformation. Damaged blades with cracks or severe notches should not be reused. Completion of such blades is strongly discouraged.
Blade bending: If the blade bends more than 30°, it should no longer be used, as there is a risk of breakage. Completion of such blades is strongly discouraged.
Bent blades: A bent blade should not be straightened, as it may have cracks and could break during a match. Completion of such blades is strongly discouraged.
Broken blades pose a particular threat. The circumstances of a blade break can lead to high-speed tip movements and impacts with high energy. Always keep the blade at a stable, safe angle and ensure no one is in the vicinity to avoid any risk.
Do not touch the blade with bare hands to avoid injury from sharp edges, notches, or splinters. Wear appropriate gloves.
Avoid jerky movements to prevent uncontrolled blade movement.
Check the BendyBuddy for damage or abrasion regularly. Defective parts can lead to unsafe use.
Inspect the BendyBuddys band for tears and abrasion regularly. A torn or worn band may no longer pull the blade back properly or hold it, posing a risk of injury. A loose band can cause the blade not to be fixed properly, may loosen, or could unintentionally escape.
Ensure that no one is in immediate proximity when working with the blade and BendyBuddy. Injuries from unintended movements can be avoided by maintaining sufficient distance.
Ensure the correct storage of the draw-in aid along with the inserted blade to eliminate tripping or injury hazards. It should be placed in a secure, stable location where it cannot accidentally fall or be damaged.
If you need to transport the draw-in aid with the inserted blade, make sure the blade is securely fixed to prevent it from falling out or being improperly pulled or caught.
