Warnings
The plastic blade protection tube is intended exclusively for covering the blade during transport and storage. It must not be worn during fencing or used in competitions.

Before fencing, the protection tube must be completely removed. Fencing with the tube accidentally left on the blade can lead to equipment damage or injury.

Make sure the tube fits securely but without tension on the blade. A tube that is too loose may slip off unintentionally, while one that is too tight can break or damage the blade.

The plastic material may become brittle at low temperatures and soft at high temperatures. Therefore, use and store the tube only within the recommended temperature range (ideally between +5°C and +30°C).

The tube must not be misused or used as a toy. There is a risk of injury or choking, especially for children.

Not suitable for children under 6 years of age. Small parts may come loose or be torn off and pose a hazard.

Do not store the protection tube near open flames, heaters or direct sunlight. Plastic may deform or become flammable.

Before each use, inspect the tube for damage, cracks or discoloration. Damaged products must not be reused.

Caring and storing instructions
Clean the tube as needed with a soft, damp cloth.

For heavier soiling, mild soapy water may be used.

Avoid using aggressive cleaners, solvents or abrasive agents, as these can damage or weaken the plastic.

After cleaning, the tube should be allowed to air dry completely before being reused or stored.

Store the tube in a dry, clean and frost-free location.

Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight, as these can permanently damge or deform the plastic.

The tube should be stored as straight as possible, or in a gentle curve. Strong bending, pressure or impact can lead to breaks or deformation.

For storage, a closed container or bag is recommended to protect the tube from UV light, dust and physical damage.

The blade protection tube is made from non-biodegradable PVC plastic.

It must not be disposed of in organic waste or paper recycling bins.

As a rule, it should be disposed of in the general household waste, unless local regulations provide specific guidance for PVC materials.

Larger quantities should be taken to a municipal recycling center or a certified waste disposal facility.

Packaging materials such as cardboard or plastic bags should be separated and disposed of according to local recycling regulations.
