Warnings
The cable reel housing is intended for indoor use only and must be used exclusively for the safe storage and guidance of cable reels in fencing applications.
Before installation, ensure that the wall provides sufficient load-bearing capacity. The housing must only be mounted on stable walls (e.g. concrete brickwork, or wood) using suitable mounting hardware.
Make sure the housing is mounted securely, firmly and level. An improperly installed housing may detach and cause injury.
The housing must not be opened or modified during operation. Any work on installed housing may only be carried out by qualified personnel.
Cables must be laid and guided without tension or twisting. Incorrect cable routing can damage the cables or result in signal transmission errors.
Ensure that no body parts or equipment enter the movement area of the cable reel or housing during fencing activity.
The cable housing must not be used as a handle, step or storage surface. Misuse may result in damage to property or injury.
Caring and storing instructions
The cable reel housing should be checked regularly for dirt, damage or loose mounting points.
For cleaning, a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Do not use harsh cleaning agents, solvents or abrasive materials, as these may damage surfaces or functional parts.
In case of heavy soiling, a mild detergent diluted in water may be used. Ensure that no moisture enters the housing or the cable mechanism.
Mechanical components such as guide sollers or retracion meachnisms should be regularly tested for smooth operation and, if necessary, treated with a suitable technical spray (e.g. silicone spray), according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Ensure that all components are completely dry before putting the housing back into operation.
If the cable reel housing is temporarily disassembled or stored, it should be kept in a dry, clean and frost-free environment.
Avoid direct sunlight, high humidity and extreme temperatures as these can negatively affect the material and functionality over time.
Store the housing flat or upright on a level surface and avoid any mechanical stress (e.g. pressure, weight or impact).
If possible, store the product in its original packaging or a suitable protective container to safeguard the surface and mounting points.
The cable reel housing must not be disposed of with household waste.
Dispose of the product according to your local recycling regulations, preferably via a recycling center or a designated drop-off point for metal and electrical components.
If possible, seperate different material components (such as metal brackets, plastic parts or screws) before disposal, provided it can be done safely.
Packaging materials like cardboard, plastic film or mounting accessories (e.g. screw bags) should be sorted and disposed of in accordance with local waste regulations for paper, plastic or general waste.
If the product contains electronic components (e.g. motorized retraction systems). it must be disposed of as electronic waste, in accordance with the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) or corresponding international regulations.
