Warnings
The replacement of the fencing mask bib, including the inner padding, may only be carried out by our trained professional staff in our facility.
Any independent disassembly or attempt to replace the bib or padding by the end user is strictly prohibited and will result in the loss of product safety and any potential warrenty or guarantee claims.
A damaged, worn or detached bib poses a significant safety risk, as it impairs the protective function of the mask - particularly in the neck and throat area, where it may no longer provide sufficient protection.
The fencing mask must not be used if there are visible signs of damage or wear to the bib or the padding - neither in training nor in competition.
Please inspect the bib regularly for tears, fraying, material fatigue, faulty seams or detachment. The inner padding should also be checked regularly for structural integrity and secure positioning.
If any damage or significant wear is found, the mask must be taken out of use immediately and sent to us for professional replacement.
Only use the mask again once the bib and padding have been renewed by us and the mask has passed a technical safety inspection.
Only a professional replacement carried out in our facility can ensure the full protective function, comfort and performance of the fencing mask.
Any unauthorized modification or repair attempt will void the safety certification and may lead to injury.

Caring and storing instructions
The bib and inner padding should be thoroughly aired and dried in a dry environment after each use to reduce sweat buildup and odors.
The bib may be gently wiped down with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Only mild, pH-neutral cleaning agents should be used.
Do not use aggressive or alcohol-based cleaners, solvents or disinfectant sprays, as these can damage or stiffen the materials and weaken the seams.
The inner padding must not be removed, washed or soaked in water. Gentle dry cleaning (e.g., with a slightly damp microfiber cloth) is acceptable.
Ensure taht not moisture remains inside the mask - allow all parts to dry completely before storing.
Regularly inspect the bib and padding for hygiene, proper fit, material fatigue or visible damage.
Store the mask in a dry, well-ventilated space - preferably in a breathable, shape-retaining protective bag.
Avoid direct sunlight, high temperatures, frost and high humidity as these can damage or prematurely age both the fabric and th padding.
A heavily damaged or hygienically unusable bib or worn-out padding is a safety concern and must not be reused.
Fabric and padding materials are considered textile or plastc waste and must be disposed of according to local regulations.
