Range of application

This garment may only be used by qualified trainers for fencing lessons in controlled training situations.

To find out the correct size of your fencing master equipment please refer to the table on our website. Protective clothing for fencing masters should be chosen big enough to ensure room to move. However it should be tight enough to avoid that the fabric falls in folds which might catch the opponent’s blade.

When fastening your fencing master jacket, make sure, that all fastening devices (straps, hook and loop fasteners, zippers, buttons etc.) are closed completely and firmly. The garment may not be used any longer, if any of the fastening devices doesn’t work properly.

This garment may only be used by qualified trainers for fencing lessons in controlled training situations.

Coaching equipment for fencing is not protective equipment under DIN/EN 13567. It is strongly recommended to use this equipment only in combination with full protective equipment (according to the latest version of DIN/EN 13567) to minimize the risk of injury. The protective effect of this coaching equipment is limited to reducing superficial injuries such as abrasions and bruises, as well as cushioning impact forces from thrusts and cuts by fencing blades.

Broken blades pose a particular threat. The circumstances of a blade breakage can lead to high-speed tip movement and high-energy impacts. It is known that broken blades can penetrate protective equipment with potentially fatal consequences. This coaching equipment for fencing does not offer protection against this specific hazard.

The coaching equipment should be regularly inspected for mechanical damage (abrasions, tears, holes, open seams). Damaged equipment must not be used further.

Some people are allergic to leather. Check before purchasing if you are sensitive to leather products.

Caring and storing instructions

Make sure to follow the cleaning and care instructions on the label.

Store the clothing in a dry location, away from direct sunlight, to maintain the durability of the materials.

Always keep the fencing master clothing away from heat sources and open flames.
