With the mask tester, you can quickly and reliably check whether the mesh of your fencing mask complies with FIE regulations. 

The tester is simply inserted into the mesh openings: If it passes through, the holes are too large - the mask does not pass inspection. 

The mask tester is a robust, handy testing tool designed for equipment managers, clubs and tournament organizers for material inspection and safety checks.

Warnings
Attention: The mask tester contains a spring under tension, which can spring out of the housing uncontrollably, if the tester is opened improperly, potentially causing injury. Unscrew the housing carefully and with slight counter-pressure.

The mask tester may only be used by qualified personnel.

Use by minors is not permitted.

Caution: Keep small parts out of the reach of children. Small parts can be swallowed by young children.

Mask testers may only be used for testing the wire mesh of the fencing masks that are used for practicing fencing according to the rules of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) or the respective national fencing federation.
Caring and storing instructions

After use, the mask tester can be cleaned with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. 

Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these may damage the surface. 

For heavier soiling, a mild cleaning solutions followed by thorough drying is usually sufficient. 

Keep the tester's surface clean and free from rust or corrosion. 

Avoid impacts, drops, or excessive force, as these may deform the testing tip. 

Store the mask tester in a dry, clean place at room temperature. 

Avoid direct sunlight, high humidity, and temperature fluctuations to prevent corrosion and material fatigue. 

It is recommended to store the tester in a protective pouch or box to prevent damage. 

Please dispose of the product in an environmentally friendly manner through designated collection points for tools. 

Disposal with household waste should be avoided.
