Warnings
This striking pad is intended exclusively for training in sport fencing with blunt weapons (e. g. foil or epee). It is designed for target practice only and not for absorbing heavy strikes or blows. Use with sharp or modified weapons may cause material damage or result in injury. Always wear personal protective equipment, including a fencing mask, gloves and protective clothing.
Do not aim at or attach the pad to any person. The pad must only be mounted on stable training walls, stands or appropriate fixtures.
Inspect the pad for damage before each use. If any visible cracks, tears or loose parts are found, the product must not be used.
Do not store or use the pad outdoors.
Use only under the supervision of qualified trainers, especially when used by children or beginners.
Avoid contact with fire, sharp objects or chemical cleaning agents.
Caring and storing instructions
The striking pad should be cleaned regularly with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove sweat, dust and other residues. Only mild soap solutions should be used, aggressive cleaners, solvents or abrasive materials must be avoided, as they can damage the material. After cleaning, allow the pad to air dry completely before using or storing it again.
To extend the lifespan of the striking pad, regularly check for damages such as tears or loose seams and repair them if possible. Use the pad strictly as intended to prevent material fatigue and premature wear. Direct exposure to sunlight and extreme heat or cold should avoided, as these conditions can cause the material to become brittle or deformed.
The striking pad should be stored in a dry, clean and well-ventilated location. Avoid direct contact with the floor, especially in damp environments, to prevent mold growth or material damage. Ideally, the pad should be hung up or stored flat on a suitable surface to prevent deformation. If the pad is not used for an extended period, it is recommended to cover it with a protective cover.
