Warnings

Use only under adult supervision. Keep the fencing bag out of reach of small children to prevent injuries caused by fencing weapons or heavy equipment.

Risk of Suffocation: Do not enclose or transport people or animals in the bag. There is a risk of suffocation.

Sharp objects can damage the bag. Handle with care during transport.

Uhlmann products are to be used exclusively for practicing fencing according to the rules of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) or the respective national fencing federation.

Caring and storing instructions

Material separation: Fencing bags generally consist of various materials such as textile, metal, plastic and sometimes wood. Before disposal, these components should be separated as much as possible.

Textile components (e.g. nylon, polyester): Dispose of via general household waste or local textile collection points.

Metal parts (e.g. metal frame): These components can be disposed of as scrap metal and sent for recycling via recycling centres or scrap collection points.

Plastic parts (e.g. wheels and strap buckles): Plastic should be disposed of in general waste unless they are recyclable. If there is a recycling symbol indicating recyclability, the plastic should be disposed of accordingly.

Zippers: Dispose of with general household waste.

Wooden reinforcements (e.g. wooden panels): Dispose of via bulky waste collection or wood recycling

Return and reuse: Some fencing associations or clubs offer take-back programs for used fencing bags.

If the bag is still functional, it can be passed on through second-hand platforms or fencing clubs.
