- For all Uhlmann sabre masks (item-no. 40843, 40845)
- New fastening system according to the new FIE rules 2018.
- Please send us your cleaned mask, as the renewal can only be performed by certified personnel.
- Please note that you have to ship your gear to our Uhlmann company on your own expense.
- Please note that we do not accept masks from other manufacturers. We upgrade Uhlmann masks only.
- The upgrade takes approximately 2 - 3 days after receiving the mask plus shipping time.
- After ordering no cancellation possible.
The conversion of a mask to the new fastening system may only be carried out by us.
The new fastening system consists of a neck strap with two different safety fasteners, ensuring an optimal fit and maximum safety.
The customer must not perform this conversion themselves, as improper installation can significantly impair the protective function of the mask.
For the conversion, the mask must be cleaned and sent to us at the customer's expense.
Independent modifications, repair or injuries resulting from unauthorised interventions in the fastening system or improperly executed conversions.
After the conversion, the mask must be checked regularly for a secure fit and intact safety fasteners.
The neck strap and the safety fasteners must not be cleaned in the washing machine.
For cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild soapy water. After cleaning, wipe all parts with a dry cloth and allow them to air-dry completely.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, bleach, or solvents, as these can damage the materials and the mechanics of the fasteners.
Regularly check the fastening system for wear, damage or loose seams.
Please ensure that both safety fasteners function properly at all times.
In the event of damage or worn parts, send the mask to us immediately for inspection and, if necessary, replacement of components.
Do not apply heat (e. g. ironing, hot air) to the neck strap or the fasteners.
Always store the mask dry, clen and in well-ventilated place.
Avoid direct sunlight or high temperatures, as these can weaken the material of the neck strap and the fasteners.
Do not store the mask in closed, damp sports bags - use a breathable mask bag instead.
A damaged mask or a defective fastening system must not be reused, as safety can no longer be guaranteed.
Disposal should be via rsidual waste, as the product consists of composite materials.
