Please note that a chip replacement is required to perform the software update on your Uhlmann detector. For safety reasons, this update can only be carried out at our facility. 

The detector must therefore be sent to us for the update procedure. Performing the update independently or through third parties is not permitted and may compromise the functionality and operational safety of the detector. 

Before sending the device, please ensure that your detector model is eligible for the software update. If you are unsure, feel free to contact us. 

Please clearly state the serial number or detector number when placing your order or in the accompanying documents. This ensures accurate identification and speeds up processing. 

Unauthorized tampering or servicing by third parties will void the warranty. We accept no liability for any damge caused by improper shipping or unauthorized modifications. 

Please clean the exterior of the detector before sending it in, using a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. 

Remove any heavy contamination or dust buildup, especially around housing openings and sensor areas. 

Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, solvents, or compressed air - these may damage the electronics or lead to malfunctions. 

The detector must arrive at our facility clean and dry, as contamination may interfere with the update process (chip replacement). 

After receiving your update detector, we recommend carefully reintegrating it into your system and regularly checking it for dust or contamination. 

Routine visual inspections and gentle external cleaning will help ensure long-term reliability and proper function. 

If the detector is not put back into operation immediately after return, please store it in a dry, dust-free environment with stable temperatur conditions. 

Whenever possible, use the original packaging or antistatic protective materials for both storage and transport. 

Please dispose of any old components in accordance with applicable regulations for electronic and electrical waste.
