Warnings
The frame may only be used for its intended purpose: securing wheelchairs for wheelchair fencing.
Children and unauthorizied persons must not operate the frame or be near the assembled system without supervision.
Due to its total weight (approx. 60kg), at least two people are required for safe transport and assembly.
Before each use, it must be ensured that the locking arms are correctly inserted into the round bars and securely fastened.
Before each use, makse sure that the toothed rail is properly adjusted using the rotary cross and locked in place wiht locking pin.
Before each use, ensure that the wheelchairs are positioned symmetrically and stably on the base plates.
Before each use, ensure that the tension straps are properly threaded and tightly fastened to prevent the wheelchair from slipping.
The height adjustment of the locking arms must match the wheel size of the wheelchair and may only be performed when the wheelchair is unoccupied.
The frame must be checked regularly for proper function and structural integrity. If any defects are detected, the system mut be taken out of service immediately.
Repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel. Only original parts may be used. Unauthorized modifications or alterations will void the operational safety of the product.
Caring and storing instructions
The frame should be cleaned regularly using a soft cloth, warm water and mild cleaning agent. Aggressive or abrasive cleaning products must not be used, as they may damage the surfaces and non-slip coatings.
Movable or mechanical components, such as the toothed rail and gear unit, must not be submerged in water and should only be wiped with a damp cloth.
Before the next use, the entire frame must be completely dry, especially arount all connection points.
All movable parts such as the locking arms, toothed rail, rotary cross and locking pins should be checked regularly for smooth operation.
If necessary, these components should be lightly lubricated or greased using a suitable, acid-free lubricant.
Care must be taken to ensure that no lubricant comes into contact with the non-slip surfaces.
Damaged or worn components must be replaced immediately to maintain safety and proper functionality.
The frame must be stored in a dry, clean and weather-protected environment, ideally indoord.
Storage in conditions with frost, high heat or direct sunlight must be avoided to prevent material damage.
When folded, the frame can be stored in a space-saving manner.
All removable parts, such as locking arms, tension straps and pins, should be stored separately and in an organized manner.
The wheelchair frame must not be disposed of with household waste.
Metal components should be recycled as scrap metal, plastic parts must be disposed of seperately according to local regulations.
Electronic or mechanical components, such as the gear mechanism of the toothed rail, may fall under electronic waste regulations and must be disposed of accordingly.
In case of uncertainty regarding proper disposal, the local waste management authority or the manufacturer should be contacted.
