The corcodil clip may only be used for its intended purpose in fencing - to connect the cable to the metallic jacket or to the fencing mask. 

Before each use, check that the crocodile clip is undamaged and securely attached to the cable. Damaged or loose clips must not be used. 

The clip must be properly soldered to the body wire to ensure a safe electrical connection and to comply with international fencing regulations. 

Improper installation or use may result in malfunction of the scoring system.

Do not use the clip if it shows signs of rust, looseness, or deformation. 

Installation and maintenance should only be carried out by persons familiar with fencing-specific wiring. 

Keep the crocodile clip out of reach of children. 

Clean the crocodil clip regularly with a dry, soft cloth. 

For heavier soiling, a slightly damp cloth may be used. Ensure that no moisture enters the electrical contact surface. 

Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these may damage the surface or affect conductivity. 

Check the contact surface regularly for oxidation or corrosion and clean them carefully if necessary. 

Store the crocodile clip in a dry, clean, and well-ventilated place. 

Avoid extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and high humidity. 

Keep the clip separate from chemicals or materials that could cause corrosion. 

The crocodile clip should be stored in such a way that the contact surface are not damaged or bent. 

The crocodile clip is made or worn-out clips properly at the appropriate collection points for metal or electronic waste. 

Packaging materials should be disposed of or recycled in accordance with local regulations.
